Happy Halloween!!

With Halloween right around the corner we knew we had to get our cards out soon! After spending a few hours crafting up some home made cards I am sad to say that half received home made and half recieved store bought! Granted last year all that I sent were bought so definitely a step up from last year! Who knows maybe in 2012 I can hand make ALL the cards!

For now I want to leave you with the cards I crafted up this year! Hopefully everyone has now recieved their cards!!

Well here is the last of the Christmas cards I have been working on. I am sure I'll make some more but this is it for Christmas for now! Sad Day - but I'll be sharing Halloween cards soon!!!

This just happens to be Chuck's favorite card I've made!! This one was a lot of fun to make as I got to use a crap load of GLITTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could say I'm off to make more cards or even I'm off to scrapbook but nope not today. Even though I'm sad I won't be working in the craft room I will be going shopping with the Future Sister in Law, so it will still be a fun day. And with Monday being a holiday I can get in my scrapbook room and get my craft on!!!!!!!

The Party Is Picked!

I can now show off the cards I made for asking the girls to be my Bridesmaids, my Maid of Honor, and then a thank you card for my Mom for all that I know she's going to do for the special day!! I've been waiting patiently to post these as I wanted to make sure I gave them out to everyone before showing them off to the blogger world!

The cards for the girls. I did three exactly the same for the bridesmaids and then one slightly different one for the Maid of Honor, A.K.A My Seester :-) And yes Pink and Green will be the colors :-)

I was so excited about these cards since it helped solify my color choice and because cards are not my specialty. I was on a roll one night and was able to do all of these in one evening. I was so happy and so proud!!

So a huge thank you for saying yes to my Seester, besties JBug and Alycia, and my future sister in law Jenny!! I couldn't be happier to have you girls up there with me :-)

Last weekend I was very happy to attend the bridal shower of one of my girlfriends, Alycia! (Check out her blogs here: Driving Blind and The Wonder Wall) I of course had to make her a personalized card!! Awhile back I bought this super cute Mickey and Minnie sticker specifically for a card for her, so I thought what better time?

She is in LOVE with anything Disney and since this sticker was just too cute and lovey dovey I knew it was perfect!

Then I found this super cute quote to put in the card, in case you can't read it: "Marriage is Love Walking Hand in Hand together. It is the realization that there is no one else in this world that you'd rather be with than the one you're married to."

So once again Congratulations Alycia! I can't wait to celebrate your wedding in October!!

Engagement Card!

So my old roomie and best friend Jenny got engaged the other night while in vegas with her now Fiance :-) She moved up to Washington when her family moved to Idaho after our lease was up at our apartment and I have only seen her one time since then (it's been 2 years :-( ) And I miss her so much, so I am bummed I won't be able to celebrate when she gets back from Vegas. But I am so Happy for her! So I wanted to handmake her Congratulations on Your Engagement card :-) This is what I came up with. And since I can't be waiting at her doorstop when she gets home I picked up the Fall/Winter Issue of the Knot magazine and included it in a package for her! The two of them are perfect together and I am so happy for her!

A Little Hello Card

So I made this card to send with a letter to my Aunt Stacy and I was so torn cause it's one of the first cards I've made in a long time and I love it! The little dog is a stamp that I embossed and then colored in with crayons :-) Who would of that that crayons wouldn't look bad.
