Black Friday Dinner 2011

Here it is folks our Black Friday Dinner for 2011!!

This is how I keep myself organized on that day! I just set the table and then lay out all the dishes needed with little post it notes for what goes with what! It makes like SO EASY!! That and PREP PREP PREP!!

Oh YUM!!! Doesn't that look so delish! It was!!

As you can see we had - Jello Salad, Dressing, Turkey, Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Cauliflower.....

Crescent Rolls, Miracle Mashies, Gravy and of course Sparkling Cider!

Oh yes this dinner was DELISH!!

Fall Has Fallen?

Another Holiday Layout!!! I have just been on a roll with my scrapbooking lately and it feels AWESOME!! I am so happy with the way all of my layouts are turning out, part in thanks to Storytellers and part in thanks to my creative genes :-)

I finished up our Turkey Day from 2009 and it's ------------ yup you guessed it - it's so cute!! I didn't have a lot of pictures from this Turkey Day which is kind of nice cause it made it easier to get everything to fit on 2 pages :-)

I was so happy Mom posed for a picture for me cause normally she's too busy cooking or she prefers to not be photographed - crazy I know!! Who doesn't want their picture taken? Regardless she was a trooper and smiled pretty for me :-)

Of course Paps is just goofing off again - but now I know where I get my camera love and goofiness from :-) And of course my Seester Mandy Jo - who also prefers to not be photographed - but being the younger sister I am I take as many pictures of her as possible :) This is her "I'm pretending to be annoyed" or I think she's pretending :-)

Can you believe that I've got no more Turkey Day pictures to scrap?? I know I can't either, in fact I think I need to double check that fact before I can fully commit to it :-)

"Black Friday" Dinner

Another Storyteller's layout for you! This time I scrapped our "Black Friday" Dinner from 2009!

Working on this page made me want a big turkey sandwich! :-)

Isn't my honey so cute? He's so patient with me when I'm taking pictures lol!! I am pretty sure he just wanted to carve into this turkey but I made him carve slow and pose haha!!

 I think I need to stop working on Holiday Layouts cause now I want Thanksgiving and Christmas to get here! HAHA!! I love Holidays!!

Day After Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner

So I LOVE to cook and I love to cook big holiday dinners so Chuck and I have been doing our own thanksgiving! This year we did ours on the day after thanksgiving. That day I was with my sister almost all day because she wanted to buy a new tv and we ended up having to go an hour away in order to get the one she wanted but it was worth the deal. But Chuck had to start Thanksgiving dinner without me!

Here we are right before dinner:

The table all set up! My Mom had sent me home with leftover Jell-O Salad. I was so stoked to have it two days in a row!

The beautiful and tasty pumpkin Chuck made for us! It was so good!

Our little thanksgiving was so nice and relaxing! I love that we do holidays just the two of us as well as with our families :)

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving we went down to my Parents house. Chuck went to his Mom's to eat dinner but he came down to my parents for a little while!

My Mom cooked a great meal and I had to share pictures!

It was so YUMMY! I was stuffed!! That night I came back around 9:30 because we were going shopping at 11 at our local outlets! It was a GREAT Thanksgiving!!!
