Hippity Hoppity

Another Storyteller's pack here for you! I had this adorable Easter related pack sitting around waiting patiently for me to crack it open! So I did and what better to use it for then EGG DYING!! (Crack, egg, get it?)

In 2008 we had an egg dying night at my parents and the pictures are pretty cute! Here is the two page layout of us dying the eggs! I just love Storyteller's embellishments! For someone who is against kits I love these cause I can arrange it however I want and it still looks awesome!

That picture of Chuck and I is one of my favorites so I was super happy to get it into my scrapbook!

Doesn't Chuck look hard at work? He's such a sport and gets into these things just for me! Although secretly I think he likes getting to act like a kid again! Oh yeah and check the picture of me, Chuck and Mandy. Our faces really tell it all!

Since I had leftover paper and a really cute Easter title embellishment I had to create just one more page! Having only 2 pictures from Easter 2008 I didn't want the hear to be forgotten so I cropped one and then just added in the other. It's a simple one page layout but it's so darn cute!

I am so happy to be getting back into scrapbooking! I was working diligently on my best friends album that I haven't done anything else and was feeling a little burnt out on all the wedding stuff, so to get down to business and do some random layouts has been AWESOME!! Now I really can't wait for the crops that Mom and I have planned to go to!!

To Dye For!

I know I'm a little late, Easter is over! I understand this but I still had to share because it is so much fun!!

Saturday night Chuck and I dyed Easter Eggs!! We did 11, 1 cracked in the process of boiling, and we had fun! But it was quite different than what I'm used to! Usually my Mom will do something at her house, but not this year. I think Easter kind of snuck up on all of us!

But anywho Chuck and I had fun dying eggs, it went by super quick but we still went all out!

We chose to mix with vinegar to gives us Vibrant Colors!!
Unfortunately I screwed up the tabs and the orange ended up in the Green cup, the green ended up in the Yellow Cup and the yellow ended up in the orange cup! The rest were perfect! ;-)

Check out that dipping technique...

We had some pretty cool eggs :-) I did one that was of course Half Green and Half Yellow for my Oakland A's!!
The best part about these eggs....the next day when we made them into deviled eggs!! Yum!!!
I hope everyone had a Happy Easter! We spent the morning at Chuck's Mom's house for a super delicious brunch and then we had an early dinner at my Parents which was amazing as usual! Since we couldn't open up our croquet season because of the pouring rain all day my Parents bought a new game to play! And I highly recommend buying Battle of the Sexes. It was so hilarious and so much fun! And let's be honest no matter who wins Woman will always be the better sex! Am I right?
Easter was so much fun this year and I hope everyone had a great one as well!!

Who Doesn't Love Easter??

How anyone could dislike Easter is beyond me! I love Easter, the colors, the food, and of course the Easter Egg Dying are amazing!

Tonight Chuck and I will be dying Easter Eggs and I cannot wait!! He was called into work early today which means he'll be home by 6 WOO HOO!! I am planning cooking a nice dinner, something warm as it's been raining here, and then we will be spending the evening dying eggs!

Anyone else out there dying eggs?

Spring has Sprung!!!

I first have to say I love the Safeway/Kohls Promotion. Last week or was it the week before? I can't remember as I feel like I'm always at the grocery store!!! Safeway and Kohls teamed up and gave Safeway Shoppers a Reward!! I got $20 Kohls cash and on Friday my coworker Laura wanted to go to Kohls to buy Easter stuff and I was so happy to tag a long since Easter is one holiday that I love but don't decorate for! Our other coworker Jamie came along too!!

And did Kohls have the deals???? I got all my Easter decorations at 60% off!! What a score!!

I got 2 cute spring placemats that I can leave out until the end of May for Spring!

These adorable vanilla smelling candles with egg shapes in them! So cute right?

Here the placements are on the table!! See that bag to the right, that is still my Scrapbooking Convention purchases! I've been so busy I haven't been able to play with them or at least put them away!!

I also picked up this adorable table runner! And instead of on the table, the placemats being enough, we moved somethings around on the TV Stand to make it fit!!!
I love it this way because we can still have our flowers out but also some pretty Easter decorations! Granted the colors don't really go together but it's only for a week now!
Anyone else out there decorate for Easter? With all the cute Easter stuff I've seen around town while shopping makes me want to start collecting to go all out next year!! Hmm maybe I should do some more shopping tomorrow on my lunch break!!!
