Sneak Peak....

This past week and this weekend I've been working hard in my Scrapbook/Sewing Room on Christmas Aprons for my Mom, Sister and Me. Each year we have done this since I can remember we have Baking Day before Christmas. It started with all of us (Aunts and Cousins) heading over to my Grammy's house and we would bake all day, dozens and dozens and dozens of cookies. But then with people moving it hasn't been at my Grammy's. But my Mom and Sister and I still do it! I thought it'd be neat for us to have Christmas Aprons!

I of course couldn't start any work without my assistants keeping watch!

Or sleeping :-)
This fabric is the cutest fabric I got for an apron I am making my Grammy for Christmas. This is just one piece of it and I love it! These doggies are so cute. And not sure if it's clear but the stripes are a really pretty mintish green!

Sneak Peak of my Christmas Apron (I can't show the whole thing until I give them to my Mom and Sister)

And a sneak peek of my sisters! She's a little more simple than mine, which is pretty busy! But I loved this fabric and thought she'd appreciate the classic christmas colors :-)

Hopefully tomorrow I will finish my Mom's apron and also my Grammy's Christmas present (apron). I have had so much fun doing these. I wouldn't mind doing them all the time! They are super easy and just so cute!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle

While I was picking up some more Slow Cooker Pot Roast seasonings I found a packet for Chicken Noodle Soup!! I was thrilled!

I had chicken, celery, carrots, and egg noodles!

Just put it all together into the slow cooker and then you add 5 cups (should have only done 4 cups) and the seasoning mix! And let it sit for 8 hours on Low.

You add the noodles after 8 hours on low, and then turn it up to high or leave it on for about 15 minutes.
It looked and smelled so food! We made some grilled cheese to go with it.
It was so yummy! Definitely should have only used 4 cups of water, it could have had a thicker sauce! But it was so yummy and just what I wanted after a cold day!! I highly recommend anyone getting the McCormick Chicken Noodle Slow Cooker Seasoning and try it yourself! Something super easy to do!

So I've Given Up

Sadly I am not going to do anymore Project 365 this year. I'm not sure I'm ready for this challene. I fell behind on 4 days worth of pictures and just couldn't stage anything! So for now I can just say I've tried and failed! But I'm okay with it :-)

Lately I've been shopping and filling up my scrapbook table with goodies

Look at that desk just covered! I had no room to scrapbook!!

So on thursday we went and saw Chuck's best friend in a play! And it was so FUNNY!! We also got lucky and went on half price night!! YAY!! It was so much fun!

Project 365 - Wednesday November 11th, 2009 - Day 42

So for today's picture its of OUR TURKEY for Thanksgiving!! I got us an 8lb turkey and it is the first full turkey I will ever make! Last year we just did the breasts! I can't wait for Thanksgiving now!

Project 365 - November 10th, 2009 - Day 41

So today I went shopping at JoAnn's after work. I only needed adhesive and then I was going to look at some albums because I decided I need to reorganize my scrapbook albums. I hadn't planned on buying anything other than adhesive and maybe a sticker or two but then I found the clearance!!

I found these albums for $5 each. They aren't the prettiest but they will work until I can afford to buy nicer albums!

And here is the rest of the loot: I got a Bride Emergency Kit for my best friend Jenny. It was also on clearance. I got adhesive, extenders for my albums, 2 dog theme stickers, christmas stickers, christmas set of chipboards, paper, and embellishments and 2 sets of stamps!
I found these awesome stamps for only $4. I got the Christmas ones for me!

And these Fall/Autumn ones for my Mom!

Overall a very successful clearance raid even though I didn't need to spend the money. And on top of it all I left my coupon at home! I had a 10% off entire purchase, which included sale items but I left it at home :-( Still I was excited about all the deals!!

Project 365 - Monday November 9th,2009 - Day 40

So the pictures of today are a Scrapbook layout I did and one that I had to fix!

I did this layout tonight! It's of our new ornaments and my new snowglobe from last year at christmas! The title: Every Tree Needs Accessories :-) I really love how it turned out and I only have one more christmas layout from last year and I'm done! I am really trying to get my scrapbooks updated because I fell really far behind! But now that my Scrapbook room is done I can actually concentrate on working on my scrapbook layouts!

And this is the Thanksgiving 2008 layout I did awhile back but I was really silly and I put the year as 2009 LOL! So I just had to find the paper to match and cut out the 8 and then stickle it! So I just fixed that up and now it's ready to go into the book!

Project 365 - Sunday November 8th, 2009 - Day 39

So Saturday I was running early when I went to meet my Sister at her house and decided to go by Petsmart. We needed baggies and the dogs hadn't gotten new toys in awhile. So I did a little shopping. I actually only spent $30 which was more than I should have but we got a lot! I got 2 toys for $2 each because they were halloween toys! And I got Buster a new football toy and Roxy a new chew toy. I also got 2 reusable bags and some tarter and breath treats!

But this is the pictures for sunday because Roxy already broke apart her chew toy and it's now in the trash! She was funny though because she chewed off parts of the rubber but then spit them out right away.

Here is the toy abandoned after Buster started playing with one of her other favorite toys! But you can't really tell how many little plastics bits there were. She didn't swallow any of them but she would chew it off and spit them right out. Needless to say it got taken away after she finally left it!

Here she is :-) Our little Roxy! She looks super sweet and cute here but she's a little terror! We love her though and she definitely gives Buster a fun friend to play with!

Project 365 - Saturday November 7th, 2009 - Day 38

Multiple pictures for Saturday because I hung out with Mandy all DAY!! We went to San Francisco and we saw the King Tut Exhibit, which was AMAZING! It was so neat because they offer an audio tour but the way it works is that you go at your own pace and for the items that come with audio you punch in the number, hit GO and it starts when you want it to! You don't have to worry about falling behind because you want to look at something longer! It was well worth the money for the tickets and it was so MUCH FUN hanging with my sister all day!

Here we are before we left her house!

The front of the museum! You can't take pictures inside the Tut exhibit but here is a picture of the sign on the windows out front!
And this is where we ate! It's an awesome burger joint in North Beach! The food was so good and I had a root beer float that was amazing! We were going to go to this italian place but they didn't open until 4:30 and it was 3 and we were HUNGRY! So we walked around abit looking for a place to eat and settled on this one! I highly recommend it!

Project 365 - Friday November 6th, 2009 - Day 37

The picture for today is my 2 kitties Jasmine and Belle. They are sisters and they LOVE each other! We came upstairs and found the two of them curled up on Chuck's side of the bed, they were fast asleep until we came upstairs with the 2 dogs, but they still stayed curled up!! It was just too cute not to take a picture!

Project 365 - Thursday November 5th, 2009 - Day36

The picture of Today is Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting! Everyone at work wanted red velvet and since I LOVE to bake and LOVE Red Velvet cake I volunteered!! So I made these wednesday night but frosted them thursday before work!

They were so GOOD!!!

Project 365 - Wednesday November 4th, 2009 - Day 35

So wednesday I was determined to make German Pancakes for dinner! My Paps makes the BEST German Pancakes ever and I have tried once to make them and FAILED Miserably!! So this time around I called my Paps when I got home and he walked me through making them!! And they TURNED OUT GREAT!!! I was so impressed, not as good as my Paps but good enough for me!! They are just so yummy and since I don't live at home I never get them anymore!

Since they turned out so good and Chuck didn't want any, as soon as the last one came off the pan I wrapped them up, put them in my food carrier and drove down to share them with my Paps! He had a little plate of them and I gave him another quarter of them to have for breakfast! And to make it even better we had them with my Mom's homemade applesauce!! YUM!!

Here they are before being cut!!

And since I was so hungry and ready to eat them I forgot to take pictures of them that night after cutting them up and putting some yummy applesauce and sugar on them, here is a picture of the next morning. I heated them up!
And then here they are with applesauce and sugar ready to be devoured! I even made them again this past weekend on sunday for breakfast! I just LOVE them!

Project 365 - Tuesday November 3rd, 2009 - Day 34

The picture of Tuesday is one of me and my babies! These two are attached to me if I'm sitting down somewhere! It's an absolute horrible picture of me cause I was falling asleep on the couch but it was so cute to have both my little girls cuddling me :-)

Project 365 - Monday November 2nd, 2009 - Day 33

The picture of the day is Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds DVD Collection. I started working out again and am determined to do it 5 days a week! So I found 2 dvds I really love with a total of 7 different workouts! So far so good! I worked out 5 days last week and did the one mile walk. I will probably start out with that for a month until I am in the groove then move to the 2 mile walk cause it's only 30 minutes and I can do that every morning before work :-)

But have I mentioned how much I love her? This DVD is amazing! She makes it easy and fun and you can actually feel the workout!

Project 365 - Sunday November 1st, 2009 - Day 32

Picture of the day TODAY is of my baby Belle and 2 scrapbook layouts I did.

Belle spent the whole afternoon in my scrapbook room with me. And she proceeded to try and sleep on every piece of paper and on my chair whenever I got up. I love that she hangs out with me all afternoon while I scrapbook!

Here is a picture of the first 2 pages of our Decorating the Christmas Tree layouts.
These pictures of the bare tree, Chuck putting lights on the tree and hanging the first ornaments. Also of an ornament we bought at an event we went to!!
And here is pictures of the new santa topper we bought and of the finished product!!!

Now I am working on the pages for the new ornament we got each other and the new snowglobe Chuck got me :-) After those I will just have Christmas Day to scrapbook and my Christmas scrapbook pages will be complete. I already finished the tree hunting pictures which turned out so cute considering we got our tree at Home Depot LOL!! So I will hopefully finish those up and then I can start my Christmas Advent Calendar :-) plus the christmas gift I need to make!

Easy Cheesey Burger Roll

I found this AWESOME really EASY recipe from this wonderful blog: http://delightfuldwelling.blogspot.com/2009/10/easy-cheesey-burger-roll.html

Here are the ingredients!!!

Add the browned meat, mixed with the onion powder and BBQ sauce to the top of the dough!! Top with CHEESE!

Bake it and VOILA! I then cut it into 5 pieces!

YUM!! It smelled so GOOD!! It was so good. It wasn't a really heavier meal either so we decided next time we could have a side dish with it too! And we also thought itd be fun to try and make it a mexican dish and use taco seasoning and mexican blend cheese or use italian seasonings with mozzarella cheese! It's definitely a go to dinner!

And for dessert we had some yummy carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!

Project 365 - Saturday October 31st, 2009 - Day 31

I need to give Kudos to anyone who has done a Project 365. It's TOUGH!! 31 days in and I've been able to do it but I can't tell you how many times I'll be sitting there at 8pm and thinking "Crap I forgot to take a picture....nope I didn't forget, nothing happened today" LOL. It's been FUN though, cause even though I may not have an event or something new that happened I still have so many things I can take a picture of! But it's been tough...not sure that I'll make it 365 days but I am going to TRY my hardest!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TODAY!!! I can't believe it's already Halloween! This year has flown by!

But for today we had a morning date!! We went to breakfast at IHOP because we had a coupon and then we went and Couples Retreat! It was so FUNNY!!! I highly recommend everyone to see it because we laughed the whole time!

After the movie we came home and picked up the house and then my Mom and Sister dropped by to show off my Mom's new car! And then Chuck's best friend Nick came over so they played Madden and I watched one of my favorite movies "New in Town"! Then we got ready and went over to Chuck's coworker Annette's house! She invited people over to play pool and enjoy their new game room/bar!
We had a lot of fun and I beat Chuck at pool! I was so HAPPY!!

Project 365 - Friday October 30th, 2009 - Day 30

Of all days to take a good picture I end up forgetting my camara. Today at work we had our Halloween Potluck and I didn't get any pictures. I wasn't feeling super great so I worked from home in the morning and went in just for the potluck, but I had made stuffed shells the night before and needed to finish them off in the morning so it worked out. And they were very yummy! We also had pastry puff with mushrooms and spinach, a really good stuffing, nachos, and YUMMY CUPCAKES!! And we had a great time, but I forgot to take pictures! I was a little out of it all day! But I also managed to get another christmas present bought....We now only need to purchase 4 gifts, plus gifts for each other! But only 4 LEFT!! I am so excited and so far everything we had bought has been on a sale :-) It's so nice to be almost done!

But instead of potluck pictures I took some of our "kids"!!!

Snuggled up by the sunlight coming from the back doors.

This is a typical Roxy face! Everytime she uses you as a stretching post, she gives you this look! It's one of my favorite Roxy faces cause her ears don't do that naturally!

And here is our big guy sleeping at the back door. He just plopped down and stretched out at the back door opening :-)

Project 365 - Thursday October 29th, 2009 - Day 29

The picture of the day for Thursday is of me and my best friend Jenny. We got to hang out again thursday before she left to go home, so she came over and we just ate dinner and talked her wedding all night :-) It was so much fun and I miss her already!

Project 365 - Wednesday October 28th, 2009 - Day 28

So the picture of the day for wednesday is of a cute new outfit I got for Chuck's best friend's daughter. She turned two on Thursday the 29th!! And this little outfit is kind of like those juicy couture sweat outfits, but I just thought it was too cute not get :-)
