Just an FYI for any of you that were also having problems. I found the solution to my issue with blogger so I am now free to comment my little heart away! And boy have I missed being able to comment!!
If you are still having troubles when you go to sign into blogger make sure that the "keep me signed in" box is unchecked. The minute I unchecked that I was able to comment and suprise - it still kept me logged in :-)
